SEMI Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force
SEMI and the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) announced the formation of the Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force (ACTF), which addresses the pervasive problem of counterfeit products, resulting in the loss of hundreds of billions of dollars on an annual basis. Initially conceptualized by the SIA, SEMI was enlisted as the standards developing organization of choice because of its longstanding experience in developing global industry standards.
North American Security Products Organization (NASPO) International
NASPO develops national and international fraud countermeasure and control standards; providing support those standards through education, auditing, certification and accreditation of certification bodies.
Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force
Unauthorized or counterfeit semiconductors have the potential to pose major threats to the health, safety, and security of our country and its citizens. SIA and its member companies are actively working to ensure the security and authenticity of our products.
SEMI Traceability Standards
Capture user requirements and develop standards to enable full traceability of materials and other factory resources in semiconductor manufacturing. This will include marking and identification techniques, encode/decode methods, inter-company exchange of information, and characteristics of marking/reading sub-systems needed by the industry, from semiconductor, flat panel display, and other materials manufacturing through final product assembly and test.

The Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) is an international network of professionals who build skills, share practical experience and develop solutions in electronic assembly technologies, including microsystems, emerging technologies, and related business operations.
